TAKING DESIGN THROUGH TO MANUFACTURE

Through our many manufacturing partners we can support from concept to design, and support with the manufacturing of industry-leading innovations and products. Once our customers have a concept for a new design, SWS can support in a range of ways from completing a feasibility study, to a full-blown certification programme.

SWS can oversee and support the full manufacturing process with approved manufacturers, producing components or assemblies for development, test articles and final manufacture for delivery and installation to the operator.

The examples below are two companies we have helped approve major design innovations and we continue to work together to bring their designs into fruition.

COBALT AEROSPACE

In order to provide manufactured products with the appropriate Airworthiness approvals. SWS Certification Services partners with Cobalt Aerospace who are an UKCAA Part 21 Subpart G Production Organisation (POA).

Cobalt Aerospace provides POA manufacturing support to many high-profile interior programmes for airlines, VIP completion centres and integrators around the world. A typical example of this would be the Cobalt innovative plug and play design.

AIRLINE SERVICES  INTERIORS  

Another UKCAA Part 21 Sub Part G Production Organisation SWS partners with is Airline Services who offer a range of Aircraft Interior Repair, Overhaul and Engineering services.

Utilising Airline Services’ Centre of Excellence for passenger seating in Manchester, they can provide dedicated Part 145 and refurbishment services for a range of interior products to meet customers’ needs. We have worked on 100+ projects with Airline Services and they one of our most-trusted and highly recommended POA’s.

SWS’ PART 21 ORGANISATIONAL ARRANGEMENTS

SWS also have Part 21 organisational arrangements with a range of production organisations (POA), maintenance organisations (MOA), continued airworthiness management organisation (CAMO) and engineering suppliers which enables us to offer a comprehensive service to support taking an approved design from manufacture through to installation and final aircraft level approval.
